Even without the excellent non-stick coating this would be an exceptionally high quality pan. The pan is very well made, and the heavy aluminum base ensures even heating. Many non-stick pans are cheaply made compared to quality cookware such as Cuisinart or All Clad, but that isn't true for Misen. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Got this as a gift for my wife now that she is into sourdough stuff. Highly recommend.
So far so good. My wife has been baking sourdough bread at home and we struggled cutting through the crusts with our old bread knife. Not anymore! Nice and long.
Feel balanced and are “very sharp “. Have all the other Misen knives and have given sets to my kids as well. Until proven otherwise, best knives I have ever uded, including the expensive German brands I have or used.
it is still new, but my experience so far is GREAT! The tool is light, but functions very well. And it looks good too!

Using Misen knives after using crappy supermarket knives is like putting on glasses for the first time and being able to see the leaves in the trees instead of a green blur. They are gorgeous, feel great in my hand, and make prep work go by so much faster. Be careful, though. Misen knives are SHARP. I already cut myself twice but I'm a clutz so it's to be expected.

Everyone needs this serrated knife! It makes my other bread knives look like children's toys. The weight of this makes cutting into a loaf of bread like it was slicing butter. No more crushed bread trying to saw through with a silly girlie knife. This serrated knife is the boss!
